Privacy
Clear expectations.
This site is designed to collect as little information as practical while still making it possible to listen, communicate, and understand basic site traffic.
Contact messages
The guided contact form on this site does not send your message to a website database. It prepares an email draft on your device. Nothing is sent until you review and send that email through your own email service. Once sent, the message is handled like ordinary email correspondence.
Volunteer interest and updates
When you choose Submit interest securely, your form details are transmitted over HTTPS and saved in a private Vercel Blob store accessible only to authorized project administrators. Stored details include your name, contact information, location, chosen roles, availability, skills, optional note, reply preference, and confirmation of consent. We use these details to respond to your volunteer inquiry, not to enroll you in marketing lists. If you choose the email or copy alternative instead, the site does not automatically receive those details. We do not store uploaded photos or identity documents. You may request that your submission be deleted by emailing contact@dyer4congress.com. Submissions are retained until deleted in response to a valid request or an approved records-retention process. A preferred reply method does not enroll you in automated calls or texts.
Newsletter updates are separate. Following the Subscribe link takes you to Substack, which manages subscription details and unsubscribe options under its own privacy practices. Using the volunteer form does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Security and service providers
The secure volunteer form uses Vercel hosting and private storage. Automated abuse protections and request validation are in place; no online service can promise absolute security. The public form does not expose a list of submissions or provide access to stored records.
Site analytics & source attribution
This site uses Metricool for aggregate traffic measurement. The current setup is intended to provide basic information such as pages viewed and broad geographic traffic patterns so the site can be improved. Links shared through social networks, email, podcasts, or QR codes may include standard UTM campaign parameters. When present, those parameters are stored only in your browser session so the source can be carried into a contact email you choose to send. This site does not create a cross-session identifier from those parameters and does not use its contact form to build a hidden marketing profile.
External services
Links to Substack, social networks, map tiles, and other third-party services are governed by those services’ own privacy practices once you leave this site.
NFC digital card
The digital card can open your device’s share interface or download a vCard. Those actions occur through your browser or device. The site does not receive your address book.
