A sourced guide to Oregon’s 4th Congressional District

District boundaries are easy to describe loosely and easy to get wrong. This guide points to the official adopted map and current federal boundary data.

Published October 3, 2026Field note

Under Oregon’s adopted congressional plan following the 2020 census, the 4th Congressional District includes Curry, Coos, Lane, Lincoln, and Benton counties, plus portions of Douglas and Linn counties. The district was drawn as part of Oregon’s six-district congressional map adopted in September 2021.

Use the map, not assumptions

County names are useful shorthand, but partial-county boundaries matter. The Oregon Legislative Policy and Research Office publishes the adopted congressional map, and the U.S. Census Bureau’s TIGERweb data provides current congressional-district boundary data.

What this site provides

The district page includes an interactive map intended to make the geography easier to explore. For an individual address, use an official address-based lookup rather than relying only on a county-level description.

Boundary note: congressional maps can change after redistricting or court action. This page is dated October 3, 2026 and links to the official sources used for the description above.
